Naviglio di Bereguardo route begins in Castelletto di Abbiategrasso and finishes on the Ticino river in Bereguardo, running through the fields. Route stops: Morimondo Abbey, Castello di Bereguardo, Ponte di Barche di Bereguardo which connects Bereguardo and Zerbolò.
It is the off-road path around the small Borgo della Zelata, district of Bereguardo, indicated by Ente Parco del Ticino (Ticino Park Authority).The route offers interesting panoramic observation points: along its central stretch, which winds on the embankment of the Ticino, one can spot ornithic species that lives in water environments, such as the Black-crowned Night Heron or the Little Egret.
The E1 European long-distance path is the Green Motorway that connects Nordkapp (Norway) to Capo Passero (Sicily) crossing Europe. The Italian section of E1 route- which is called Cammino dell’Alleanza (Alliance Trail)- crosses the Ticino Park for over a hundred kilometers (from Sesto Calende to Pavia) The route is marked with white-red plates and the initials E1.
